Definition: An oval or round object laid by a female bird, reptile, fish, or invertebrate, usually containing a developing embryo.

Make sure that the movement for both hands is simultaneous and symmetrical. Otherwise, a common mistake can look like KNIFE (or occasionally NAME) as sometimes found in ASL learners.

Phonological variation.

A dish of eggs prepared by beating them with a little liquid and then cooking and stirring gently.

Trivial tidbits: It takes four hours to boil an ostrich egg.

Want to know if an egg is fresh? If it sinks in water it is fresh. If it does not sink it is not fresh.
