With the 31st overall selection in the 2020 NHL Draft, San Jose Sharks General Manager Doug Wilson and Director of Scouting Doug Wilson Jr. selected Ozzy Wiesblatt, a native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Ref

Ozzy is a coda (child of deaf parents). Doug Wilson Jr. used ASL to announce the 31st pick in the draft, forward Ozzy Wiesblatt, whose parent is Deaf. The use of ASL means a lot to Ozzy and the family.
