ASL sign for RESPONSIBLE

the state or fact of being responsible, answerable, or accountable for something within one's power, control, or management.

The movement is repeated twice. If it's once, it may mean something else: BURDEN or such.

Either RESPONSIBLE or RESPONSIBILITY, depending on the part of a sentence.

Mnemonic Tip: imagine the burden is on your shoulder.

Gloss: IX1 VERY-YOUNG BUT/\ IX1 GOOD(em) RESPONSIBILE

English equivalent: He's young; at the same time, he's quite responsible.

The stress part of the signs are YOUNG and GOOD.

Raise eyebrows for the conjunction BUT/HOWEVER.
