Note that there are two ASL signs for one English word 'listen' (the difference by location of the signs). One relates to listening via eye and another via ear.

English equivalent: She told me the story of her life.
Raise eyebrows in topicalization (HER LIFE).
The gloss LISTEN has sign variations thus different meanings in contexts. In this video, it refers to listening with eyes, not ears.
