Meaning: A small burrowing, gregarious, furry, plant-eating mammal with long ears, long hind legs and short front legs, front large teeth and a short tail that moves by hopping on its long hind legs.
Pronunciation (sign description): Two-handed "13" (or "H" with its thumb open) horizontal hands with the dominant hand on the top of the non-dominant hand, the fingers of both hands together flap twice. A variation of the handshape may be sometimes "H" handshape with its thumb closed.

Rabbit is a burrowing, gregarious sometimes timid, plant-eating ANIMAL with long ears, long hind legs, and a short tail. Stereotypically, it likes to eat CARROTS. Sometimes, rabbits are kept as PETS.
