How do you say 'study' in ASL? There are two common variations.
Meaning: The act of making an effort to learn by reading, practicing, or memorizing; a careful investigation or examination of something.
Pronunciation (sign description): The fingeers of dominant "5" hand with its palm down in front of the non-dominant flat hand/palm wiggle.
Contextual variation: Dominant "5" hand with its palm down in front of the non-doiminant flat hand/palm moves toward the non-dominant palm a couple of times. The fingers of the dominant hand may touch the palm or not.
