ASL sign for: double standard

Definition: Double standard, an ethical or moral code that applies more to one group than to another.

This neologism was coined by Joey Baer in his video blog (vlog) in the 2000s during the protest at Gallaudet University.

The right handshape stems from the ASL word "preach" and the other handshape stems from (approximately glossed as) "refuse". The movement of these two parts are in the opposite direction.
