ASL sign for: break in

Definition: To enter something (as a building or computer system or other premises) without consent or by force.

Eg "A prowler tried to break in that shop last night."

To make new shoes or clothes comfortable by wearing them.

To help someone get used to something new, for example a new job.

There may be different ways of signing, depending on the sentence level of meaning.

Sentence example

Gloss: LAST NIGHT/\ IX1 SHOP IX2 THIEF IX2 TRY! BREAK+ENTER(X2).

English equivalent: A prowler tried to break in that shop last night.

When signing BREAK+ENTER, make sure it's in spatial agreement with the referent SHOP.
