His cultural story: every Saturday morning at his residential school for the Deaf in the 1970s, the boys gathered together and watched the TV show with no captions back then but they enjoyed the actions back then. The dorm supervisor would ask the kids which Batman, Robin, or Superman do you want to watch today? The boys would vote one.
