ASL sign for: stroke (heart)

Meaning: The sudden death of brain cells due to lack of oxygen, caused by blockage of blood flow or rupture of an artery to the brain.

Variation. The concept of this sign is behind paralysis often on one side of the body, a common cause of stroke.
