For those of you who are ASL beginners, Ben explained that the dominant handshape of the ASL sign FOOL is an A for April, and the passive handshape of the same sign FOOL is a "ONE" for 1st. Of course, they are nothing to do with the English initials of the words, just an coincidence! Ha.
