Definition: a distinctive mode of pronouncing a language, especially one associated with a particular nation, area, locality, or social class.

This ASL sign refers to a spoken form. For "thick accent", sign "ACCENT STRONG".

Another ASL sign for signed form has the same handshape but on the wrist/hand. This refers to the accent in sign language or signing.
