Meaning (also springtime): the season after winter and before summer, in which vegetation begins to appear, in the northern hemisphere from March to May and in the southern hemisphere from September to November.

Pronunciation (sign description): Dominant "flat O" hand (handshape) with its palm up (orientation) inside non-dominant loose fist (location) moves upward twice while dominant handshape tranforms into open hand (movement).
