Signs for WHETHER

There are several signs, depending on the sentences.

Meaning: expressing a doubt or choice between alternatives. E.g. "He seemed undecided whether to go or stay." Another example, "I wonder whether I'll go fishing." ASL glossed as: WONDER IX-me GO(var) FISHING [video above].

Contextual variation (usage not recommended for learners). E.g. "I wonder whether I'll go fishing." ASL glossed as: WONDER IX-me GO(var) FISHING [video above]. This sign is rarely used.

Same sign for IF. E.g. "I'll check whether she's at home."

Same sign for DOESN'T MATTER. E.g. "I'm going whether you like it or not." Another, "I'm going to complain whether the referee is right."
