Signs for IS, WAS

First of all, as common contrary to hearing people's assumption, ASL is not English nor it's a "signed English".

"Is", "are" or other "be" verbs as well as past "to be" such as "was" and "were" are not used in ASL. Learn grammar with coupla absence and ASL coupla of its own. It's added here only because many of you're looking it up (and requesting for the signed word for it).

Meaning: a form of 'be' verb.

Same for "are" or other 'be" that are coupla-absent in ASL.
