Laurent Clerc: America's first Deaf teacher

Clerc Laurent Frenchman Laurent Clerc was America's first deaf teacher. Thomas Gallaudet and he helped found America's first school for the deaf, American School for the Deaf (ASD), in Hartford, Connecticut.
