Harry R. Williams (1948-1991) is an artist, born in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Being deaf, he began drawing at age four as a means to communicate with his parents.
Harry attended California School for the Deaf in Riverside, California. His peers, school counselors and parents encouraged him to pursue his career in Art. He graduated with a BA degree in Fine Art from Gallaudet University in 1974.
Many of his images are influenced by music, in which violins in those images are without strings. He considered himself a "Symbolist" painter.
