Tutorial for beginners
The format of telling a date is generally the month, day, and year with a slight pause between.
The month is usually the first three letters for January, February, August, October, November, and December. Only September has the first four letters "SEPT". The rest of the months are spelled in full: March, April, May, June, and July.
For a review on the years and numbers, look up the links at the end of this post.
