Terms of Use Agreement

Hello! Handspeak (the "Site") provides Users with access to sign language related information.

By using the Site operated at www.handspeak.com, you ("User") agree to these Terms, without limitation, to be bound by, and to comply with. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Site.

Changes to Terms

The Site reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and other guidelines at any time without notice. Any modification to this Agreement shall become effective immediately upon posting on the Site. User is responsible for reviewing the Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after any such change constitutes acceptance of all changes. If you do not agree with this Agreement in full, you must immediately terminate your use of this site.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site is copyright to their respective author(s) or creator(s). The creator/owner of the Site owns Content and all other rights in the Site including its design, compilation, database, and other works.

As User, you use the Content for personal purposes. You cannot distribute, copy, translate, or upload Content into other mediums. If you want to share, you can link (via a web address or URL) to the original web page.

Acceptable Use and Prohibited Use

The Site is intended for personal use by individuals; the Site is a commercial medium for our Advertisers and Subscribers.

You agree that:

Content on the Site: We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and at any time, to make changes, modifications, amendments, alterations, and/or deletions to any Content, and to any services, including advertising, subscription, and products.

Underage: The Site is not designated for use by children under the age of 18 or (legal age in you region) without parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 18.

Remedies: Without limiting any of our rights, we may suspend, restrict, or terminate your use of the Site without notice if, in our discretion, we determine or believe that you have violated any of the acceptable use rules or terms.

If you are dissatisfied with the Site, your sole remedy is to discontinue using the Site.


If you register an account ("Account") identifying you as a user ("User"), you must be at least eighteen (18) years old and agree to the Terms. You provide true, accurate and complete information in your Account.

Non-transferable account: You are solely responsible for any and all actions taken in your Account.

You must not share your username and password with anyone else nor allow anyone else to access the Site using your Account. You agree to immediately notify the Site of any unauthorized access to or use of your Account.

Account only allows one user. Simultaneous logins are not permitted. Logins via IPs and computer devices are monitored by the subscription system.

Pricing is subject to changes without notice. Pricing change will not affect any active subscriptions.

Unsubscribe: If User would like to unsubscribe at any time from receiving future emails (e.g. newsletter), the Site includes unsubscribe instructions located at the bottom of each email. However, User cannot op-out of receiving transactional emails related to their accounts with the Site (e.g. purchase, subscription notices, etc.).

Cancellation: You can cancel your paid subscription at any time before the next billing date. No refund can be made for the remaining time of the subscription; you can still access your subscription until the end of the subscription period.

Account Deletion: If you request to delete your Account to which your data is connected, you agree that the Site may retain a copy of it for archival or legal purposes.

Termination of Subscription: Subscription will be automatically terminated if recurring payment is not paid.

Termination: The Site reserves the right to, in our sole discretion, refuse, restrict, suspend, or terminate your Account, subscription, and access to the Site without notice or liability for any reason whatoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms or applicable law.


The Site reserves the right to ban or block access to any user, subscriber, or advertiser.


Availability and use of the site: The Site is running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, in a rare circumstance, the Site may be interrupted or unavailable for maintenance.

The Site depends on the Internet, including networks, cabling, facilities and equipment that is not in our control. We cannot guarantee any minimum level of performance, speed, reliability, or availability. Data, messages or information sent over the Internet may not be completely secure.


The Site has the right, without notice, to insert advertisements into the Site (except for Ad-free paid subscription).

Privacy Policy

You acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Statement located on the Site at https://www.handspeak.com/info/index.php?info=privacy .

Liability of Liability and Disclaimer

The Site is provided as a resource solely for your personal reference and all use of the Site is at your own risk.

You agree that under no circumstances shall the Site nor the creator be liable for any consequential, direct, incidental, indirect, punitive or any damages or loss related to the use of, the inability to use, error, omission, denial of service, attack, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or system failure, third-party theft of, destruction of, unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of your information or data.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Site and any of its affiliates from and against any and all loss, costs, expenses (including attorneys' fees and expenses), claims, damages and liabilities related to or associated with your use of the Site and any violation of this privacy policy by you, or any other user of your Account.

Applicable Laws

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Canada without regard to the conflicts of laws rules of any jurisdiction. The laws of Canada govern these terms and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts there.
