Definition: To remain inactive or in a state of repose, as until something expected happens (often followed by for, till, or until).
To wait for a long time; to wait too long.
Gloss: IX1 WAIT+++ FOR YOU ALL-DAY.
English equivalent: She has been waiting for you all day.
The pronoun is non-gender in ASL. The verb WAIT is inflected in agreement with time tense.
The sign DAY has a "1' handshape but in the sign ALL-DAY, the handshape is different. Don't be confused by these handshapes, as these are not interchangeable.
The wavy line above two handshapes palming in indicates that the hands are wiggling. Image contributed by ASLwrite.
